Customer Service & Operation (Exports)

We are actively seeking a Customer Service & Operation (Exports) to join our team at our offices in Piraeus.

The Customer service & Operation (Exports) will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of export shipments for clients. The primary responsibilities will include liaising with customers to coordinate, organizing and overseeing the logistics of export shipments, and managing the documentation process. Additionally, will be responsible for maintaining clear and effective communication channels with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service delivery at all stages of the export process.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers concerning scheduled shipments.
  • Coordinate Export Loading orders, which includes verifying loading readiness with customers, arranging bookings with shipping agents and correspondents, and issuing loading instructions to carriers, along with loading notes, as necessary.
  • Data entry into the company’s ERP system (Orian).
  • Generate and distribute loading documents such as Bills of Lading (B/L) and certificate etc.
  • Manage the issuance of commercial invoices.
  • Ensure the timely update of loading orders and dispatch relevant documents to correspondents worldwide.


Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team spirit and collaboration mindset.
  • Advanced business writing and oral skills both in Greek and English.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Business administration or other related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Customer Service & Operations or relevant position.
  • Previous experience in the shipping freight forwarding industry is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Orian ERP will be considered a plus.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
