In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire an experienced Income & Credit Manager.

Position Summary

The role of "Income & Credit Manager" in hotels is an important part of managing the financial and debit processes of the hotel. The main objective of this position is to ensure effective revenue management, financial stability and a smooth flow of payments to the hotel. Overall, the Income & Credit Manager contributes to maintaining the financial health of the business, optimizing revenue, ensuring regulatory compliance, and resolving issues related to debit processes and payments.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities 

  • Supervises all the activities of Income audit and credit control of the Hotels
  • Credit management: Manages the payments from customers and monitors pending issues. Analyzes customers' creditworthiness and makes decisions about granting credit or payment deadlines.
  • Monitoring of the Aging of AR.
  • Fund Management: Monitors cash flow, manages receipts, deposits in bank accounts and ensures the safe management of money.
  • Communication with Customers and Partners: Provides information and communicates with customers and partners regarding charges, payments, pending issues and arrangements.
  • Dispute resolution: Resolves disputes and inconsistencies regarding pricing, payments, and billing with customers and partners.
  • Responsible for the daily Revenue Interface (Protel-ERP) and for the revenue and collections reconciliation.


Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field is usually required.
  • Experience in roles related to finance, invoicing, credit or debt management at hospitality industry can be considered an additional asset.
  • Knowledge of Financial Concepts: Understanding of basic financial principles such as revenue, payments, credits, payment deadlines and debit accounts.
  • Ability to manage multiple processes at once, organize time efficiently and keep track of details.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare reports and draw conclusions from analyses.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers and partners, as well as deal with payment and billing issues.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members and collaborate with different departments of the business.
