Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Conduct detailed financial analyses and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to support financial planning.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial projections.
• Support tax filing and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering their professional growth.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience (7+ years) as an accountant, including at least 3 years in a senior role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, Greek and IFRS accounting standards, and regulations.
• Proficient in tax compliance and reporting requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
• Experience with logistics and supply chain management software, particularly SoftOne
