Your main responsibilities
Oversee the care of plants, trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns, including watering, pruning, weeding and fertilizing.
Create and implement planting schemes and landscape designs that align with the garden's aesthetic, purpose, and environmental conditions.
Lead and supervise a team of gardeners, including scheduling work, assigning tasks, and providing training and guidance.
Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance, events, or education, to coordinate garden-related activities.
Manage the garden's budget, including forecasting costs for labor, materials, tools, and plants.
What will you bring?
Higher Degree in Agricultural or Forestry Sciences or another similar field.
Fluency in English.
Experience managing teams, scheduling work, and overseeing large projects.
In-depth knowledge of plants, including identification, care, and seasonal requirements.
Knowledge of plant protection & and plant nutrition.
Skills in garden design, including planning and implementing planting schemes.
Strong leadership skills to manage a team of gardeners and clear communication skills to coordinate with other departments.
