We are seeking for an Electrical Engineer, who besides to have strong motivation for technical development and evolvement, will be able to:

• Perform design calculations in the Electrical Department (such as cable sizing etc.)
• Prepare material take-offs (MTOs).
• Review and evaluate vendor documentation.
• Perform 2D and 3D design work.
• Prepare electrical equipment Material Requisitions.
• Prepare updates and checks calculations for detailed engineering.
• Contributes to optimization of material quantities by proposing valued engineering solutions.
• Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the suppliers.
• Adheres to the maintenance of the project schedule, company quality standards, all contractual requirements and execution plan.
• Executes electrical engineering activities and meets quality objectives of the project.
• Ensures that the discipline engineering deliverables are compliant with project QHSE plan and discipline engineering processes & standards.
• Works towards development and training.
• Provides assistance to Electrical Department Head in various departmental activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Relevant experience in a similar role related to Oil & Gas Projects and detailed engineering in the field of expertise (Electrical engineering - preferably within a major engineering company) will be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of international codes & standards, international design guidelines & recommendations (like IEC, NEC, etc).
• Knowledge of performing basic calculations and preparation of data sheets for electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of developing and follow-up of Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Load Lists, Electrical Cable Layouts as well as cable lists.

You are someone with:

• Ability to liaise with the other engineering disciplines, assisting them during detail engineering.
• Experience using relevant electrical commercial software applicable to electrical engineering (like ETAP etc) will be considered an advantage.
• Be able to work in a team environment and handle multiple Project responsibilities.
• Willing to work on a national and international environment.
• Previous exposure to international environment will be considered an advantage.
• Mobility is desirable to participate in working teams at project home offices throughout the countries where EPC projects are executed.
• Excellent command in English (written and spoken)

The Electrical Engineer will report to the Electrical Department Discipline Head.
