Key Accountabilities

• Solve any electrical/electronic/automation issue that results in production delays
• Support existing control systems PLC by providing software and hardware troubleshooting
• Develop and customize new control systems, PLC logic
• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment
• Monitor and control maintenance cost
• Maintain supplies inventory by checking electrical material stock to determine inventory
• Create instruction and documentation for the use and maintenance of electrical equipment
• Participate in the installation of new machinery
• Improve health and safety procedures

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering (5 years degree)
• Master's degree will be considered a plus
• Very good knowledge of the English language
• Very good knowledge of Siemens or Allen Bradley PLCs will be considered a plus
• Very good knowledge of AC or DC Drives (Siemens, ABB, Allen Bradley) will be considered a plus
• Very good knowledge of e-plan and AutoCAD software will be considered a plus
• Good level of IT skills (Microsoft office, Computer networking basics, programming languages) will be considered a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial environment
• Attention to detail
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
