Key Accountabilities
- Solve any electrical/electronic/automation issue that results in production delays
- Support existing control systems PLC by providing software and hardware troubleshooting
- Develop and customize new control systems, PLC logic
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment
- Monitor and control maintenance cost
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking electrical material stock to determine inventory
- Create instruction and documentation for the use and maintenance of electrical equipment
- Participate in the installation of new machinery
- Improve health and safety procedures
Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering (5 years degree)
- Master's degree will be considered a plus
- Very good knowledge of the English language
- Very good knowledge of Siemens or Allen Bradley PLCs will be considered a plus
- Very good knowledge of AC or DC Drives (Siemens, ABB, Allen Bradley) will be considered a plus
- Very good knowledge of e-plan and AutoCAD software will be considered a plus
- Good level of IT skills (Microsoft office, Computer networking basics, programming languages) will be considered a plus
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial environment
- Attention to detail
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
