ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of a leading gaming company, is looking for a driven professional for the position of the Store Development Engineer, based in Athens.
Profile:
As a Store Development Engineer, you will be driving force behind the client's Property and Facilities Team, providing specialized engineering support and undertaking diverse digital transformation projects that will improve customer experience and strengthen their digital presence.
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for technological advancement and improvements in the digital retail space such as in-store kiosk, beacons, digital signage, interactive displays, LED screens, audio-visual distribution, lighting and energy management systems etc.
- Conduct thorough research to propose cutting-edge digital solutions, explore ways to elevate the retail network and premises digital capabilities with transformative technology.
- Participate in pilot tests to test and evaluate new solutions before large-scale roll-outs.
- Provide technical support during roll-out phases
- Prepare technical specifications for tender processes, guide vendors through assignments and track the implementation of solutions to completion
- Coordinate with other internal teams (e.g. Technology) and external vendors for the delivery of the assigned digital projects
Requirements:
- BSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Digital Media or related fields; MSc in preferable.
- 3 years of experience in digital electronics, system integration and retail technology solutions
- Familiarity with retail technology (e.g. digital signage, CMS platforms, digital kiosks, traffic counters and interactive displays)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Greek and English
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively and mutli-task
- Strong problem-solving skills
