ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of our client, a prominent player in the infrastructure, construction, and renewable energy sectors with a strong presence in both local and international markets, is seeking to recruit a Maintenance Senior Manager of E/M Systems to join its Motorway Operations Department.
Maintenance Senior Manager of E/M Systems (5808/MSM/ESS/GR)
Profile:
The position reports to the Director of Maintenance & Traffic Management and will oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of the Electrical and Mechanical (E/M) systems along the company's motorways, ensuring their seamless operation. The position supervises teams exceeding 80 members, including Electrical/Mechanical Engineers and Shift Electricians.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper execution of maintenance tasks to guarantee uninterrupted operation of E/M equipment across all company facilities (motorways, toll stations, tunnels, etc.).
- Direct and oversee the Traffic Management Systems Supervising Engineers in the Motorway Division.
- Evaluate and approve requests for E/M equipment purchases based on technical specifications and budget constraints.
- Oversee and assess the work performed by E/M maintenance subcontractors.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to prepare tender documents for maintenance projects.
- Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget for E/M systems and equipment.
- Prepare maintenance reports in compliance with the company’s contractual obligations.
- Work closely with the Maintenance & Traffic Management Director on human resource management matters for team members under their responsibility.
- Ensure the implementation of all Health and Safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 8–10 years of professional experience in the following areas:
- Supervision of E/M equipment construction and maintenance projects
- Team management
- Oversight of subcontractor teams
- Budget preparation
- Previous experience in E/M systems for motorway projects is a plus.
- Fluency in Greek & Proficient in English
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Results-driven with the capability to manage timelines and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team spirit and a customer-oriented approach.
- Proactive mindset with a sense of ownership and responsibility.
