We are hiring an Electrician Unit Head to lead the team of electricians at Paper Mill in Central Greece and ensure the non-stop machine operation.

Job responsibilities & tasks  Duties include but are not limited to

• Manage electrical and automation team to proper execution of electrical and automation works
• Organize the electrical team for daily jobs as well as for planned shutdown jobs
• Set up and lead the preventive master plan for the electrical equipment, follow up and propose actions when needed
• Troubleshoot problems related to Electrical, PLC and drives to ensure proper machine function.
• Follow up on breakdowns, analyze the root cause and propose corrective actions to prevent repetitive stoppages.
• Follow up Work Orders (W.O.) for daily and repairs and keep records as a future reference
• Make sure that critical spare parts are in place, set minimum stock and re-ordering
• Install PLC and Drives and supervise work of external suppliers.
• Retrieve backup for PLCs and Drives for future reference
• Design and execute small scale systems for electrical and automation in coordination with the Manager
• Assign proper teams (electrical) for projects’ execution according to the needs requested by his Manager and by the Project department
• Provide guidance for the electrical and automation team regarding the execution of the work to ensure smooth and efficient maintenance.
• Review, approve and follow up on all purchase requisition /orders issued from electrical and automation team for timely response
• Update ERP system with major repairs done & all details related to electrical and automation for future tracking and history data
• Propose machine upgrades related to electrical and automation in coordination with maintenance manager and Projects department to improve machine efficiency and decrease downtime.
• Act as a role model in terms of HSE strategy and policy of the organization and ensure site meets all local/national regulatory requirements in HSE standards.
• Prepare risk assessments for job executions and provide safety leadership, support, and advice to mitigate risks

Required Qualifications:

• Polytechneio (AEI) or Technical engineering degree - electrical specialization (such as T.E.I.) or licensed electrician as per legal requirements 
• Knowledge of Reading Electrical Diagrams 
• Good knowledge of English (written & oral)                      
• Experience of at least 3 years in an organized industrial environment as an Electrician
• Team player and a continuous improvement approach                                                                                                     
• Completed Military services
