Reporting to: Directly report to the Project Engineering Manager. Functionally report to Project Managers and Project Planners / Quality Engineers.

Job Description:
We are currently seeking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager (HSE). The successful candidate will deliver the assigned construction and engineering project successfully at site level whilst conforming to time, scope and quality requirements.
Majority of time spent
Overseeing site management of the project to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Hands on management, control and overseeing of all logistical matters for the construction site, this includes but not limited to site traffic, deliveries, routes of access, pedestrians, storage of equipment and materials.
- Meticulous drive and detail towards ensuring the project specific and company HSE and environmental policies are enforced throughout the site, ensuring safety and compliance for all contractors, staff and visitors are maintained whilst pushing standards to maintain a zero-incident culture.
- Manage the site wide safety documentation process, ensuring all daily briefings, Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) approvals, non-conformities, inductions, inspections and safety checks and / or audits as required are completed and up to date.
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or accidents on site, ensuring immediate medical care and conducting a thorough investigation to identify causes.
- Liaise with all stakeholders to maintain effective communication with regards to the HSE requirements and reporting of all HSE incident are completed in line with company procedure.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and enforce health & safety regulations.
- Fostering a positive safety culture where employees are encouraged to report hazards and participate in safety initiatives.
- Maintain project documentation, including progress reports and compliance records.
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure seamless project execution.
- Supervision of sub-contractors
Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- Experience within a relevant discipline, with clear drive and attitude towards raising the standards for site construction Health and Safety.
- Thorough knowledge of regulations and requirements with respect to Health and Safety.
- Good understanding of industry standard Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental issues.
- Good IT skills – Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project, Teams, able to communicate and use VPN, video conferencing and mobile platforms.
- Knowledge of current ‘Construction (Design and Management) Regulations’
- Appreciation and general knowledge of construction sites with a preference towards Mechanical&Electrical installations.
- Ability to work autonomously and make decisions quickly and effectively in emergency situations
- Basic coaching and negotiation skills

Recruitment and succession requirements
Essential
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from Technical University
- A background within Health and Safety management with the electrical / mechanical engineering and/or construction setting.
- Site management experience. (5 years’ minimum experience)
- Knowledge of the current ‘Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
- Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Excellent command of Greek and English language (written and verbal).
Desirable
- Permanent resident of Ptolemais or Kozani
- Experienced with Mechanical & Electrical installations for PPC (DEI) and/or other industrial companies
- Experienced with CHP installations
- Experience in a related discipline e.g. boilers, HV systems, quantity surveying, CAD, planning, SCADA.
