Opening: Process Chemical Engineer
We are currently seeking a Process Chemical Engineer to join our team in Athens, Greece, contributing to international projects in the bio-based industry.

Key Responsibilities: Process engineering, Project engineering & execution work in the bio-based industry
Duties/Responsibilities
- Developing and checking heat and material balances using the company’s proprietary, state-of-the-art simulation software
- Conducting energy and process optimization studies
- Performing process & equipment design calculations, including equipment and pipe sizing
- Compiling process and equipment data sheets
- Participating in HAZOP
- Performing safeguarding calculations
- Technical analysis of equipment bids
- Operational Reviews
- P&ID and equipment drawings review & checking
- Developing operational and control procedures
- Work in industrial plant start-up and operations
- Developing cost estimations for installations
- Overseas travel (mainly to the USA) will be required for training, visits to clients’ sites, project execution, start-up and operations work.
Required qualifications
- BSc or higher degree in Chemical Engineering
- Openness to international exposure and frequent travel, including extended assignments abroad
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with adaptability and a proactive attitude
- High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial environments, detailed engineering or project execution is highly valued
- Experience in biorefinery or biomass sectors is considered a strong plus
