ICAP Executive Search & Selection on behalf of our client, a leading courier service provider, is seeking a skilled Finance Director to lead its financial operations.

Finance Director (5878/FD/ESS/GR)

This is a critical role that requires a hands-on professional who can manage financial planning, ensure operational efficiency, and oversee a diverse network of agents and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Provide financial insights to support decision-making at the executive level.
• Effectively handle financial challenges and take decisive actions to safeguard the company’s financial stability.
• Manage relationships with agents and subcontractors, understanding their unique needs and ensuring smooth collaboration.
• Assess the financial viability of agency partners, review business plans, and collaborate on optimal delivery logistics and fleet management.
• Work closely with key departments, like Network Operations, Technical, IT to enhance business performance and efficiency.
• Lead the annual budget planning process and oversee forecasting to ensure financial goals are met.
• Supervise cash flow planning, payment prioritization, and financial obligations to ensure liquidity and stability.
• Evaluate funding opportunities, financing solutions, and cost-benefit scenarios for potential investments or loans.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate reporting.
• Manage a large team across Financial Analysis, Accounting, Treasury, Cash Collection, Billing departments, encouraging trust and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Finance Director/Manager.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with both internal teams and external partners.
• Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost control.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to oversee financial reporting and compliance.
• Experience in managing teams, fostering trust, and driving business efficiency.
