Group Director of Food & Beverage

Canaves Collection is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Group Director of Food & Beverage to lead our diverse culinary operations across our luxury properties. This role is vital in fostering an innovative dining culture that reflects our brand's commitment to excellence. The Group Director of Food & Beverage will develop and implement strategies that enhance guest experiences, drive revenue, and maintain the highest standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute the food and beverage strategy across all outlets to create a unique dining experience that aligns with our luxury brand.
  • Oversee all aspects of menu development, ensuring seasonal and local ingredients are utilized while maintaining an innovative approach to cuisine.
  • Implement and uphold quality standards in food preparation and presentation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of restaurant managers and culinary staff, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and high performance.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Front Office) to develop promotions and packages that drive revenue.
  • Manage financial performance by analyzing menus, costs, and profitability, while establishing budgets and forecasts.
  • Continuously assess guest feedback and market trends to refine offerings and enhance overall guest satisfaction.


Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Food & Beverage leadership role within luxury hotels or fine dining establishments
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple outlets and driving profitability
  • Strong knowledge of current food and beverage trends, menu planning, and financial management
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Fluency in Greek and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
