ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, one of the leading companies in the freight and package transportation industry, is seeking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team.

 

Payroll Specialist (5877/PS/ESS/GR)

 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manages the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring that all payments are executed accurately, efficiently and on time.
  • Collects and analyzes payroll-related data such as overtime, shifts, maternity leaves, advance payments, and vacation planning, using HRM and payroll systems to perform accurate calculations.
  • Prepares and submits all required payroll-related reports and documentation to relevant authorities (ERGANI-SEPE, Social Insurance Institute (IKA), Tax Authorities), ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Manages the preparation and submission of the monthly Payroll Tax (ΦΜΥ) and Social Security Declarations (ΑΠΔ), ensuring adherence to tax and social security regulations.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for employees, handling payroll-related inquiries and ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Assists in the review and enhancement of payroll processes, procedures, and systems, ensuring alignment with legal and organizational changes.
  • Handles payroll-related matters concerning employee unions, ensuring accurate deductions, contributions, and compliance with collective labor agreements.
  • Supports various administrative tasks related to payroll operations, collaborating with the team and the finance department.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or any other numerical discipline
  • Hands-on experience in a payroll processing role in a large corporation or a payroll outsourcing/consulting firm
  • Great knowledge of Greek legislation regarding labor, and social security matters
  • Experience with Payroll Platforms, preferably in Epsilon Net Pylon
  • Fluency in English and Greek (verbal and written)
  • Working efficiently with attention to detail
  • Organizational, analytical and time management skills
