IT Database Administrator
Who are we looking for?
Alumil is looking for a database administrator to join our team and ensure the performance, integrity and security of our Alumil Group’s databases. On daily basis, you will work closely with the IT team to oversee our systems and find the best solutions to maintain their smoothly operation regarding their database workload. Also, you are responsible for developing and implementing backup and recovery plans and in a regular basis you perform database maintenance tasks.
About your profile
You’ll be a part of a continuously growing team of IT experts and especially member of our IT Operations department. You are located in our head offices in Thessaloniki. Your profile includes technical but soft skills too. You’re skilled and experienced with analytical thinking skills and thus give great attention to detail to ensure the smoothly operation of our systems. Specifically, you have the following qualities:
- BSc in Computer Science, Applied Informatics or other relevant background
- Previous experience 2 years at least in a similar position
- Good knowledge of database management systems, such as Oracle Cloud, PL/SQL and/or ANSI SQL
- Knowledge of Oracle MS SQL Server, mySQL databases
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
- Windows server systems administration certifications will be appreciated
- Communication, time management and project management skills
- Problem-solving ability, attention to detail and critical thinking
