IT Systems Specialist

The Information Technology Systems Specialist will be responsible for System and Network administration, troubleshooting and network security. The role will involve managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring its security and efficiency, and providing technical support to employees (stores and HQ).


Responsibilities

  • Provide first level technical support to users (stores and HQ), by phone, or email
  • Diagnose and solve technical problems in computers, software, peripherals, and networks troubleshooting
  • Manage user rights, installations, updates, and backups
  • Assist in the onboarding and setting up of new users, including creating and configuring accounts, permissions, and email.
  • Diagnose and taking decisions for network problems
  • Configure and monitoring backup process
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and taking decisions for VMs
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting automated procedures and flows
  • Record and monitor requests and problems
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager on various projects and initiatives to solve more complex problems
  • Provide basic training to users on the use of systems and applications
  • Update IT support documentation
  • Participate in IT specific projects related to network upgrades, infrastructure improvement, and system rollouts
  • Help manage and maintain software and hardware inventories.

Your Profile

  • At least 3-year experience in IT technical support, IT Officer, or similar position
  • Experience performing administration of Microsoft 365 – AD – Intune
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Understanding of networks (SD-Wan, VLan, Firewall) and network infrastructures
  • Familiar with data security and backup tools technologies
  • Experience in hardware maintenance
  • Understanding of network security principles and best practices
  • Ability to analyze, solve problems and communicate with users of non-technical background
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting and user service skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
  • Ability to solve problems and team spirit
  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Military obligations fulfilled
