JOB ROLE:
On this position you will be a part of Helpdesk Opening Team, which is dedicated part of Services Desk team to open new stores. We coordinate that process for all countries by constant communication with external partners. Team now contains ~20 people from 10 countries. Part of responsibilities for that role is to coordinate process of ordering and shipments of hardware for new stores and Internet lines.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
- Provide selected onsite IT installations and support across multiple locations in country accordingly to planned and on-going events. Active participation at every stage of store opening/closing is the main responsibility for this position.
- Being an active part of international team of IT specialist, to support store opening process for full LPP capital group. (members are from ~10 countries)
- Cooperate with HW/SW suppliers and other IT partners, including ISP companies.
- Manage communication between IT Opening Group and store opening Coordinators.
- Undertake day to day ServiceDesk operations ensuring that incidents, service requests and project works are effectively supported.
- To install pre-defined computer ‘images’ onto desktop and laptop computers and install or re-install applications onto PCs in line with current installation procedures.
- Work with ServiceDesk where required including ticket solving and replying to service requests. This means limited remote support for countries from LPP Group.
- To manage hardware repair through the customer defined warranty routes.
- Escalate to Leader and local Operations Manager any issues that will not meet the respective service/project delivery targets or cannot be resolved with given procedure or best practices.
- Provide basic hardware break-fix services.
- Preparing user manuals, instructions, documentation and training as required.
- Ensuring compliance with internal regulations and instructions of superiors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- An interest in technical solutions, and previous IT experience is a must (at least 2 years).
- Proven customer service skills and experience in dealing with IT 3rd parties.
- At least good English knowledge (both written and spoken) and excellent communication skills.
- knowledge of other language of Central/Eastern Europe would be additional bonus
- A pro-active approach when things go wrong.
- Good organizer, priority driven and able to multi task to meet service priorities.
- Basic understanding of retail sales business.
- Please note a driving license is required for this role.
- Bussiness trips foreign and abroad if needed.
- Certificate or skills based of ITIL 4 foundation would be additional bonus
Technical:
- Windows 10/11 configuration
- Knowledge about networks (LAN, WAN, VPN)
- Active directory experience
- Android, o365, Jira / Confluence (user level)
- Hardware configuration skills
