The Junior Data Engineer adds value to the clients by storing, organizing, analyzing and sharing market data that ignite insights for their key business issues that lead to maximization of growth opportunities.
The successful candidate shall be highly motivated and results-driven with a passion for the reporting space. The candidate must be able to work independently, as well as actively participate with a collaborative team and be involved in the implementation of both solutions and technological approaches, architectures and applications used to facilitate the provision and delivery of insights that ignite growth.
A deep understanding of how CPG organisations work, what the key areas for data driven business questions are and how information granularity required varies on different seniority levels and organisations are desired.
Working for Circana’s Data Delivery team you will work with multi-disciplinary teams to support clients in a wide range of data initiatives, where you will need to understand business and technical requirements, provide subject matter expertise, conduct data discovery activities, perform root cause analysis and make recommendations for the remediation of data quality issues.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect and process data from several sources and conduct quality controls
- Integrate different data sources in a single point of information
- Load all data to external and internal databases for clients
- University Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or any other related
- Preferably 1-2 years of professional experience in relevant roles
- Willingness to develop in the areas of data engineering and to deepen practical knowledge of tools such as R, Python, SAS and SQL.
- Fluent command of English
- Advanced communication & interpersonal skills and capability to interact effectively across levels and functions
- Curiosity, Creativity and passion for design to deliver new solutions
