Multinational Company in Pharma Industry, based in Athens, is looking for in house Legal Counsel

Essential Qualifications

University degree in Law,

LLM degree is beneficial

Bar Association Membership

3-4 years professional legal experience in a Law Firm or a Company Legal Department

Fluency in Greek & English, especially in legal terms

Computer Literate & IT Savvy

Key responsibilities:

• Learning the operations and structure of a complex industry
• Monitoring pharmaceutical and intellectual property law developments
• Reviewing, interpreting and applying industry regulations and court rulings, conducting legal research, and representing the company before governmental, judicial and regulatory authorities
• Handling complex legal and regulatory compliance issues with significant financial and corporate governance impact.
• Analysing implications and legal key factors for the company and disseminating the information internally to interested parties.
• Analysing legal issues and making recommendations on actions to be taken
• Drafting letters and/or replies to authorities
• Drafting contracts and negotiating a variety of legal transactions.
• Supporting the participation to public tenders
• Drafting minutes of the BOD and GA and being responsible for the legalizing documents of the company
• Drafting and reviewing of company policies, procedures, business strategies
• Managing legal requirements and projects regarding GDPR
• Specialty in Commercial, Company and Contract Law is required
