We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Event & Venue Marketing Coordinator to lead our efforts in making these spaces popular among locals and event organizers.

Job Description:

As the Event & Venue Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting our hotel venues to the local market, wedding planners, corporate event organizers, yoga instructors, photographers, and other potential clients. You will work to increase the visibility of our spaces and ensure that they become well-known destinations for events and gatherings in Athens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Venue Marketing & Promotion:
    • Develop and execute a marketing strategy to promote the Apollo Palm Hotel and Lekka Hotel venues.
    • Collaborate with wedding planners, event organizers, yoga instructors, and photographers to host events in our unique spaces.
    • Reach out to corporate clients, schools, and groups to book events, conferences, and workshops.
    • Create partnerships with local influencers and communities to boost social media presence and word-of-mouth marketing.
  • Event Coordination & Management:
    • Oversee and coordinate events at the venues, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
    • Manage all bookings and maintain a calendar of events for the rooftop, garden bar, and multifunctional space.
    • Work with vendors, including catering and entertainment, to create memorable experiences for guests.
  • Community Building & Engagement:
    • Build strong relationships with local businesses, communities, and event planners to promote the venues.
    • Engage with guests and clients to create a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere at the venues, encouraging repeat business.
    • Leverage social media platforms to increase engagement, encouraging guests and event attendees to share their experiences online.
  • Creative Collaboration:
    • Partner with yoga teachers and photographers to host classes, photo shoots, and other activities at the hotel, ensuring cross-promotion and visibility.
    • Collaborate with cinema companies and other cultural organizations to host unique events, such as outdoor and indoor movie screenings.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in event planning, venue management, or marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong network within the Athens events community is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing and community engagement.
  • Fluent in Greek and English.
