As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Social Media Executive.
The Social Media Executive is responsible for managing and executing Ella Resorts’ social media strategy across various platforms, ensuring our brand is consistently represented through compelling content and effective community engagement. Working closely with the Content Manager, Graphic Designers, E-commerce team, and PR team, she/he plays a key role in increasing brand awareness, engagement, and driving direct bookings for our resorts. She/he is in charge of creating, scheduling, and analyzing content while staying on top of industry trends and best practices to enhance Ella Resorts’ digital presence.
Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute Ella Resorts’ social media content calendar across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Manage daily content publishing, scheduling, and optimization to maintain consistency and engagement.
- Implement platform-specific strategies to drive engagement, reach, and brand storytelling.
- Align social media efforts with marketing campaigns, brand messaging, and seasonal promotions.
Content Creation & Management
- Collaborate with the Content Manager, and external creators to produce high-quality, engaging content (images, reels, videos, carousel posts, stories).
- Create engaging copywriting for posts, captions, and social media ads aligned with the brand’s tone of voice.
- Ensure all content reflects Ella Resorts’ brand identity, luxury positioning, and visual aesthetics.
- Support the development of branded campaigns, influencer partnerships, and UGC (user-generated content) strategies.
Community Management & Engagement
- Monitor and actively engage with followers, responding to comments, DMs, and inquiries in a timely and brand-appropriate manner (for corporate accounts), while collaborating with resort teams for the proper handling of similar communication, based on company guidelines.
- Monitor reputation & guest feedback across social platforms, coordinating with the Guest Relations and Operations teams where needed.
- Identify and engage with relevant brand advocates, influencers, and industry partners to enhance Ella Resorts’ digital presence. Evaluate enquiries & communicate with content creators/influencers to secure collaboration agreements.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track and analyze key performance metrics (engagement rates, reach, follower growth, website traffic, conversions).
- Provide periodic (monthly) reports with insights, campaign performance, and recommendations for optimization.
- Use available social media analytics tools, to measure success and make data-driven improvements.
Social Media Advertising & Paid Campaigns
- Assist in creating and managing paid social media campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing Manager & E-commerce team.
- Optimize targeting, audience segmentation, and ad creatives to maximize performance and return on investment.
Trend Monitoring & Innovation
- Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, platform updates, and digital marketing innovations in the hospitality industry.
- Propose and test new content formats, campaign ideas, and storytelling approaches to keep Ella Resorts at the forefront of social media engagement.
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation, with at least 2 years in the hospitality, travel, or lifestyle industry.
- Proven track record in managing and growing social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest).
- Experience with social media advertising & paid campaign management (Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads).
- Experience in photography, videography, and graphic design (Canva, Adobe Suite) is an advantage.
- Excellent understanding of social media algorithms, best practices, and emerging trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills (experience in video content & reels is a plus).
- Familiarity with social media scheduling & analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
- Passion for the luxury hospitality and travel industry.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and influencer marketing is a plus.
