MMC Group, a dynamic group of companies headquartered in Piraeus, is engaged, among other activities in ship management, vessel chartering, commodities trade, sales & purchase of ships, claims management from seafarers on board ships, flag states registries & STCW.

Currently is seeking for a dynamic professional to cover the position of Flag STCW Officer in its offices based on Piraeus Greece.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Provide high-quality service to clients for issuance of required crew flag endorsements.
• Compile the necessary crew documents to facilitate STCW certification process of the vessel.
• Advise clients on STCW ( crew endorsements) requirements
• Communicate with clients regarding STCW ( crew endorsements) process and status.
• Ensure compliance and conform with the flag registration procedures.
• Maintain the STCW ( crew endorsements) documentation database.
• Execute weekly and monthly reporting.
• Liaise with other Departments, particularly crew/seaman department, Finance Department, Technical Department etc.,  as well as other companies’ offices worldwide.
• Perform any other tasks requested by the Head of the Department.

To be considered for this position you need to have:

• Three years’ experience in vessels registration.
• Fluency in both written and spoken Greek and English (Arabic & French will be an asset)
• Good knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• University degree (preferably in shipping)
