Shopify Manager – Montessori Educational Toys
About Us
We are a fast-growing e-commerce brand specializing in Montessori educational toys for children in the U.S. Our mission is to support parents in teaching their kids, preparing them for school, and fostering positive childhood experiences through play-based learning.
We are looking for a Shopify Manager to oversee product listings, content creation, and marketing efforts to drive organic growth and increase conversions. This role is perfect for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with prior experience in e-commerce brand management and content creation. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a strong willingness to learn and grow with the brand.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management
- Order products from suppliers and ensure timely inventory updates.
- Take high-quality pictures of products, edit them, and update product pages.
- Apply watermarks to images to protect brand identity.
- Write compelling product descriptions with strong SEO for better visibility and conversion.
- Search and add new products that align with the Montessori educational toy philosophy.
Content & Social Media Management
- Find content creators and coordinate product shipments for video and content creation.
- Write video scripts and provide guidelines for content creators to ensure high-quality, engaging content.
- Edit videos for marketing campaigns and organic content.
- Post videos on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and TikTok for ads and organic reach.
- Daily social media posting (1 post per day) to engage and grow our organic audience.
- Post 2-4 Instagram/Facebook Stories daily to keep engagement high and showcase products.
Marketing & Branding
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice and Montessori philosophy.
- Optimize product pages for conversion rate optimization (CRO) and improve user experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to run ad campaigns and analyze content performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing a Shopify store and working with brands.
- Strong skills in content creation, product photography, and video editing.
- Ability to write engaging product descriptions and SEO-friendly content.
- Experience in social media management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok preferred).
- Strong understanding of Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram ads).
- Excellent English grammar and copywriting skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Montessori toys or children’s educational products is a plus.
- Knowledge of e-commerce marketing strategies and growth hacking techniques.
- Familiarity with Shopify apps for automation, reviews, and conversions.
This is a remote position, but you should be available to coordinate content creation, product shipments, and ensure daily engagement with our audience.
