Navarino Dunes is looking for an Associates Kids Attendant. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that young guests are entertained, safe, and happy by providing interactive and engaging activities. They will respond to the needs of both children and parents, delivering an educational and cultural childcare program designed to create memorable experiences and encourage more families to visit the resort. The Kids' Attendant will also be expected to implement and design inspiring activities during their shift, ensuring that all children have a fun and enriching experience while maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Implements the structured activities that are given to the team in an efficient and safe way
- Communication with the children and be able to calm them and make them feel safe while assisting other team members when needed
- Daily care and observation of our young travelers. Create challenging activities for kids in an imaginative way and ensure that the kids in his/her care are safe and happy.
- To ensure the health and safety of the children and the team constantly
- Organize the daily lists with the team based on the basic information about kids’ routine and Implementation of the structured activities that given to the team in an efficient and safe way
- Communicate with parents for daily information about their kids and giving feedback upon check out.
- Follow all H&S rules, hotel policies, SOPs and Brand Standards at all times. Update accordingly when needed.
- Attend all trainings and seminars provided by the company and continuously remain updated for all trends and market news.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in babysitting or providing creative entertainment for children aged 3-10 years (preferred).
- 1 year of experience working in schools, playgrounds, camps, or nurseries, managing groups of up to 10 children.
- Formal qualification in Childcare (e.g., IEK, technical certificate, or university degree).
- Guest-oriented attitude with a strong eagerness to proactively take actions that ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
- Ability to connect and interact smoothly with guests from diverse cultures and nationalities.
- Respects others and fosters a positive, respectful environment.
- Maintains high integrity and demonstrates honesty, goodwill, and a positive attitude in all interactions.
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, email, and telephone etiquette, in both Greek and English.
- Excellent customer service skills, focused on delivering a memorable experience for guests.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Creative and imaginative thinking to contribute to operational excellence and enhance children’s activities.
- Ability to organize and lead educational and entertaining programs for children, while ensuring their safety and well-being.
