Navarino Dunes is looking for a Sandcastle Kids Trainee. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that young guests are entertained, safe, and happy by providing interactive activities that cater to their needs. They will assist in delivering an educational and cultural childcare program, creating memorable experiences for both children and parents, and helping to attract more families to the resort. The Kids' Trainee will design and implement engaging and inspiring activities throughout their shift, ensuring that all children are entertained in a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently implement and oversee structured activities assigned to the team, ensuring they are carried out safely and effectively.
- Communicate with children in a calm and reassuring manner, helping them feel safe, while also assisting team members when necessary.
- Provide daily care and supervision for young guests, creating engaging and challenging activities that promote safety and happiness.
- Continuously monitor and ensure the health and safety of both children and the team at all times.
- Organize daily schedules for the team, based on children's routines, and ensure the efficient implementation of structured activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on their children's activities and offering feedback at check-out.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, hotel policies, SOPs, and brand standards, making necessary updates as required.
- Participate in all training sessions and seminars offered by the company, staying informed about industry trends and market developments.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in babysitting or creative entertainment for children aged 3-10 years (optional), or 1 year of experience working in schools, playgrounds, camps, or nurseries, managing groups of up to 10 children. Alternatively, student in Childcare (e.g., IEK, technical certificate, or university degree).
- Demonstrates a guest-oriented attitude, proactively taking actions to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
