We are currently seeking out a highly motivated and passionate Procurement Manager based in our central offices in Athens, Greece. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop viable, cost-effective procurement strategies. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, communicating the Code of Conduct principles. 
  • Work with key procurement software and systems.  
  • Evaluate existing procurement policies and procedures and update accordingly. 
  • Evaluate and select chosen suppliers using a set criterion such as quality, price, delivery, and sustainability. 
  • Manage contracts, including settling disputes and ensuring that a supplier meets expectations on quality, price, and delivery. 
  • Evaluate pricing proposals, monitor records, and pricing lists according to procurement policies. 
  • Develop the procurement budget (OPEX, CAPEX), monitor the cash flow and review accordingly. 
  • Creation of purchase orders. 
  • Develop CAPEX on fixed assets and monitor progress of deliveries and account settlements. 
  • Analyze and complete financial reports. 
  • Keep track of all goods and services ordered and received with a comprehensive inventory. 
  • Calculate all order costs and evaluate invoices for accuracy. 
  • Be up to date on current trends and innovations in the Tourism industry. 
  • Aesthetic sense in design, decoration, and architecture as regards hotel refurbishment. 
  • Ability to identify and manage risk. 
  • Work closely with other teams for cross-departmental work. 

 

Your main qualifications/skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Hospitality  
  • Master's degree, MBA or another relevant field will be positively evaluated. 
  • At least 8 years of experience in procurement in the hospitality sector. 
  • Excellent negotiation skills as well as ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers. 
  • Excellent English language skills. 
  • Digital savvy (Procurement Software, Microsoft Suite, Cloud, Automation, Al orientation will be positively evaluated) 
  • Dedication to continuous learning and cultural sensitivity. 
  • Pro-active thinking/planning and problem-solving skills. 
  • Aesthetics and strong business acumen. 
  • Presentation skills. 
  • Innovative mindset eager to be up to date and bring best practices to his/her field. 
  • Team Spirit and ability to coordinate and cooperate with different teams.
