Cost/Purchasing Controller

ROLE FUNCTIONS
- Oversee all purchasing operations and Supplier engagement for all departments within the resort.
- Analyze market conditions to devise and implement effective purchasing strategies aligning with business objectives.
- Review and optimize spend data, developing negotiating strategies to ensure competitive pricing for goods and services.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Implement and refine tools for monitoring supplier performance and gathering customer feedback.
- Assist in preparing requirements for operational supplies to support the resort's operational needs.
- Conduct regular evaluations of suppliers through site visits and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures, communicating effectively with senior management on performance metrics.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in procurement/purchasing or cost control within the hospitality industry.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
