Key responsibilities

• Closely monitor the global 3rd party logistics services (3PL) market related to forwarding and warehousing solutions
• Develop and execute the procurement strategy for 3PL services in the Greek market, the subsidiaries and new focus markets
• Steer the decisions in regards to the mix between own fleet operations and 3PL services
• Continuous search of alternative 3PL partners  
• Lead the RFQs, negotiation and evaluation process with the existing and new logistics partners
• Steer the contracting process in regards to the structure and the commercial terms in close collaboration with the legal team
• Monitor monthly performance of the contracted logistics partners

Candidate’s Profile

• Graduate from top tier university
• MBA would be a strong plus
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading logistics services procurement activities with deep knowledge of the global logistics industry
• Results driven personality with high leadership skills and strong track record in managing 3PL services partners
• Strategic thinking, business acumen and team spirit
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in English language
• Availability to travel internationally (25% of the time)
