Are you ready to optimize logistics processes by improving logistics, planning, reporting, inventory management, and cost efficiency?

ALUMIL is on the lookout for a dynamic Logistics Consultant to join our team. The Logistics Consultant will be located both in Thessaloniki and Kilkis.

As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing improvements in our logistics processes, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of service and cost efficiency.

Your insights will empower us to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction, allowing our company to continue to grow and succeed.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current logistics processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and service efficiency
  • Collect data and maintains several reports regarding inventory costs, stocks, logistics costs
  • Calculate appropriate stock levels in collaboration with local logistics managers and Alumil’s launch market strategy
  • Propose logistics process improvements
  • Support ERP/WMS/MRP systems and implement IT solutions
  • Support Alumil’s subsidiaries SC procedures by monitoring KPI’s and performing continuous audits to sites
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate logistics into overall supply chain strategies
  • Monitor and assess logistics performance metrics, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Conduct cost analysis and suggest methods to minimize logistics costs while maintaining service quality


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a logistics consultant or in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, logistics management software and PowerBI
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to travel abroad
