Events Officer

We are searching for an enthusiastic candidate with a "can-do" attitude to join the in-house Communications department, reporting to the Communications Manager. His/her purpose is to assist in organizing and hosting events that enhance the company’s’ image, as well as enhance our brand-to-client experience throughout the communications spectrum.
Main Responsibilities:
•    Researching and securing venues, brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts in cooperation with Marketing Department/Brand Managers
•    Liaising and negotiating quotes and agreements with 3rd party vendors 
•    Negotiating sponsorship deals
•    Handling event logistics in cooperation with 3rd party entities
•    Updating senior management. Planning and managing company events' calendar
•    Handling of necessary budgeting and invoicing procedures 
•    Handling of post-event reports.
Position Requirements:
•    University Degree in public relations/communications/marketing or related sector. A post graduate degree will be considered a plus
•    Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in PR/events in a FMCG company or PR/Advertising agency
•    Excellent English & MS office proficiency
•    Excellent written & presentation skills
•    Project management experience will be considered a plus
•    Knowledge of KPI’s and marketing techniques for event management
