Main duties and responsibilities:

• Perform a wide variety of microbiological tests in accordance to GMP requirements and SOPs during the development of parenteral drug products.
• Complete microbiological analysis accurately on any pharmaceutical product, in-process material, raw material or stability sample
• Collect, calculate and record analysis of data.
• Promptly report any deviations or out of specifications result and assist where required with investigations

• Prepare reagents/solutions, microbial stock cultures or culture media

• Bachelor Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or relevant field with post graduate studies (MSc) in Biology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry
• Basic knowledge of microbiology and aseptic techniques (sterility testing, microbial enumeration testing, determination of bacterial endotoxin content, bioassay)
• Previous experience in Pharmaceutical Industry or relevant field will be considered as an asset
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in Greek & English
