The totally renovated 4* Aeolos Beach Hotel at Kos island is looking to hire an experienced Operations Manager to join its team for the tourism season 2025. The ideal candidate is a high energy, hands on Operations Manager, able to cope in a demanding job environment having impeccable service standards. The primary responsibilities will be focused on operational tasks and supervising others in their operational assignments. The Operations Manager will ensure guest satisfaction and the efficient operation of a 4 star 228 room all inclusive beach resort.


Responsibilities:
•    Reports to the Managing Director
•    Manages day to day operations ensuring the quality and that guest service experience is delivered to the highest levels
•    Is focused on maximizing department sales, brand reputation, productivity and performance
•    Ensures compliance with all company and statutory policies and procedures
•    Reviews and analyses the hotel’s business reports and takes appropriate action to improve performance
•    Ensures that all reporting is done in a timely and accurate manner
•    Focuses on exceeding revenue and guest expectations by providing services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention
•    Provides effective leadership through professional employee management, encouragement of subordinates and participative management style
•    Takes accountability for his/her actions
•    Ensures that complaints are handled without delay and that effective follow-up action takes place to avoid recurrence


Qualifications:
•    2 years proven experience as a Hotel Manager or 5 years experience as a Hotels’ Head of Department
•    Excellent command of the English language (knowledge of German language will be considered a plus)
•    Excellent Computer Knowledge and experience with Fidelio – Micros Hotel Management Software
•    Exceptional leadership and people management skills 
•    Ability to work with and understand financial information and data
•    Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
•    Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
•    Strong customer service orientation and skills with a passion for the hospitality industry
•    Excellent ability to work collaboratively across functions in a multicultural professional environment
•    Personal integrity with the ability to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments
