Position title: Hotel Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented and experienced Resort Manager to join our team. This is a full-time year round job opportunity to join one of most dynamic hotel brands worldwide. 

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
• Ensure the delivery of outstanding service to all guests.
• Ensure excellent customer service is delivered throughout the hotel, addressing any guest concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Lead and manage the heads of the hotel departments, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates.
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and ensure high level of maintenance and cleanliness standards.
• Develop relationships with customers, suppliers and local communities.
• Coordinate the receipt of materials and services in collaboration with the Procurement department.
• Interviewing, recruiting and training hotel's personnel
• Assist with Sales, Revenue and Marketing strategies.
• Monitor budgets, expenses and financial performance to achieve profitability goals in cooperation with Finance and cost control department.
• Perform administrative tasks like day-end closing, invoicing, filing documents, and updating internal systems.
• Personnel book keeping duties and responsible for staff accommodation

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from a Higher Education Institution with a focus on Tourism or Hospitality Management
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Opera will be considered as a plus.
• Familiarity with online booking systems
• Fluency in Greek and English (both spoken and written)
