Avaton Luxury Beach Resort - Relais & Chateaux (www.avaton.com) is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Assistant Waiter to join our team.

As an Assistant Waiter at Avaton Luxury Beach Resort, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our guests during their dining experience. You will assist the waitstaff team with setting up tables, taking and serving orders, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Your attention to detail, positive attitude, and willingness to go the extra mile will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist the waitstaff team with the setup, cleaning, and organization of dining areas
• Greet and seat guests, escorting them to their tables and providing menus
• Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a prompt and efficient manner
• Ensure tables are properly set and replenish utensils, napkins, and condiments as needed
• Assist in clearing and cleaning tables between courses and after guests depart
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner
• Collaborate with the service team and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service

• Previous experience as an Assistant Waiter or similar role in a luxury dining establishment is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
• Basic knowledge of dining room procedures and etiquette
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
