Responsibilities
- Provide personalized and attentive service to guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, making knowledgeable recommendations about menu items and wine pairings.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally, showcasing excellent presentation skills.
- Anticipate guest needs and preferences, attending to special requests and dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring tables are set impeccably and attention is paid to every detail.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely service.
- Provide exceptional knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods etc.
- Ensure a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the hotel's family atmosphere.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of previous working experience in an a la carte or buffet restaurant, ideally in a 5* hotel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Impeccable grooming and a professional demeanor.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, including wine and cocktail service.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and exceeding guest expectations.
