Job Description
Scorpios is looking for a skilled Sommelier to guide the junior sommeliers and wine waiters in order to achieve company's goals. The ideal candidate needs to be proficient and cooperate well with teammates, to be always the part of solutions and be able to perform self-evaluation & chase self-improvement.

Responsibilities
- Supervise the quality of wine service in each section
- Participate in regular staff meetings to be kept informed of company policies as well as ways to increase sales and customer experience
- The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition and handle small complaints, concerns for special request from guests
- Provide expert knowledge of the products and menus
- Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits service techniques
- Observe the physical conditions of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed
- Making recommendations for additions to the wine list when needed
- Keeping inventories for the glassware and wine equipment
- Responsible for the wine stock and condition
- Observing and advising the daily internal distribution from the warehouse
- Cooperating with the F&B manager
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Sommelier for minimum 2 years in 5* Hotels, High-End Restaurants or comparable, in terms of quality, Beach Compounds
- Very good knowledge of English language. Additional languages will be considered a plus
- Computer literacy
- WSET level 3 or equivalent certification
