HR Generalist – Donkey Hotels
As an HR Generalist you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR functions and ensuring a positive work environment for all team members. Your responsibilities will include day to day operations, recruiting, employee relations, and maintaining compliance with labour law.
The position is permanent, based at Athenaeum InterContinental Athens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees weekly employee schedules and approves or provides adjustments ensuring labour law current implementations
- Use of ERGANI platform announcements - new hires, exits, working schedules, internal-external transfers, promotions, organizational changes, daily attendance records, headcount and absences reports
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, leaves, sickness
- Monitors time & attendance /payroll procedures and prepares relevant reports
- Maintains the personnel-related records (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and virtual databases according to the corporate policies, GDPR and labor law.
- Ensure compliance with labour law and company policies.
- Organize in-house employee festivities, announcements & benefits (medical-healthcare plan, mobile phones, pc, etc)
- Gather and analyse data like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
- Assist in recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, career days
- Provide support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues
- Assist in any other HR task that may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. Relevant Master will be considered as an asset.
- At least 2 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in the hospitality or retail or industrial sector.
- Excellent knowledge of ERGANI platform (digital attendance card etc.)
- Strong knowledge of HR procedures and employment law.
- HRM systems experience such as SCAN is required
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Hands on mentality.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR management systems.
- Fluency in English and Greek; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
