Sommelier
Job responsibilities:
- Presentation of the wine list to the guests and suggestion of wines depending to the preferences of the guests
- Food and wine pairing
- Inventory of the wine stock
- Control the right storage and temperature of the wines
Necessary qualifications:
- Certification as a sommelier (WSET 3 or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant position, preferably in a hotel
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Excellent communication skills with a very strong customer-focused approach
- Selling and upselling skills with attention to the details
Desired qualifications:
- A second language will be considered a plus (German)
- Professional behavior and appearance
- Knowledge of local vineyards and wineries
- Organizational skills
