Front Office Agent

for a hotel located in Chalkidiki

As a Front Office Agent your responsibilities include :

• Providing consistent excellent service to guests upon arrival, and during their stay, from check-in to checkout.
• Welcoming and registering guests expeditiously, providing information as needed, and obtaining identification and credit/check approval as per hotel policy.
• Verifying rate and departure dates, and confirming or modifying information to complete the registration process as per hotel procedures.
• Answering all guest questions accurately and resolving problems in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction, including authorizing revenue allowances as dictated by hotel policy.
• Upselling guest rooms, food & beverage outlets if applicable, and seasonal hotel promotions.
• Making restaurant, transportation, and/or entertainment reservations for guests, plus other concierge services as requested, while maintaining thorough knowledge of hotel amenities, local area, and attractions.
• Communication and cooperation with other hotel departments to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Understanding of hotel history, services, facility information, rates, and packages.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality or Travel & Tourism is highly desirable.
• Prior solid work experience as a Front Office Agent or in similar roles.
• Thorough knowledge of the hospitality industry.
• Customer-oriented and friendly personality.
• Sound communication and administrative skills.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Attention to detail and a structured way of working.
