FRONT DESK AGENT
The front desk agent will be responsible for receptionist duties & communication with guests, always providing exceptional customer service. This role is crucial in shaping guests’ first & last impressions of their stay, making it essential to be friendly, professional & efficient. The job can be fast-paced, especially during peak season.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome guests
- Process check-ins & check-outs
- Ensure payment methods are secured & handle billings
- Maintain guests’ profiles
- Provide information of local attractions, transportation, dining options
- Answer guests’ inquiries about hotel services, amenities, surrounding area
- Address & resolve issues promptly & courteously
- Coordinate with the night & afternoon shifts to ensure seamless handover
JOB RELATED SKILLS
- Previous experience in a 5* hotel
- Clear verbal & written communication skills
- Demonstrating a pleasant & positive professional image to both guests & the rest of the team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & manage tasks efficiently
- Excellent use of the English language is required [knowledge of French language will be a plus]
- Familiar with hotel management system software & Microsoft Outlook environment [knowledge of FIDELIO will be a plus]
