Thrace Plastics Pack, member of Thrace Group, is seeking to fill the position of Financial Analyst. The role is based in Ioannina

 Responsibilities:

• Participate in interim and year-end preparation of financial reports and statements
• Participate in the budget, forecasting, reporting and strategic planning processes
• Perform analysis based on the costing valuation methods
• Assist with the processing and analysis of financial and operational production data
• Preparation of profitability reports to support management’s decisions
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
• Perform expenses control and variances reports analysis
• Prepare estimates of new and proposed product costs
• Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products
• Monitor Capex and participating in the evaluation of investments
• Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned
• Manage or participate in ad-hoc special projects related to all areas of costing department
• Create ad hoc reports
• Cooperate efficiently with all related departments and process the financial information on time

Requirements

• BSc degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting
• Msc degree in Finance, Accounting or ACCA will be considered an asset
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Proficient in Excel
• Knowledge of IAS / IFRS
• Exceptional English - written and verbal
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to comprehend financial data and be able to present them using detailed reports and charts
• Adaptability in new software platforms
• Knowledge of SAP ERP will be considered a plus but is not essential
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and meet goals in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment
