We are looking to hire a Cost Data Analyst to join our Finance Team. The right incumbent will handle cost accounting and general accounting duties and support the team on the of month-end and year-end closing procedures. He/She will be responsible for the preparation of journal entries, and the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, analyzing and distributing reports. The role reports to Group Plant Controller and is based in Xanthi, Greece.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role includes:

• Gathers and analyzes plants data from various sources and tools
• Performs cost-benefit analysis and track KPI’s
• Monitors cost reduction and profit improvement actions
• Assists in the preparation of the annual budget and forecast
• Ensures the accuracy of reporting tools and recommend the implementation of improvements
• Participates in CapEx financial analysis process & support ad hoc projects
• Cooperates effectively with internal teams and business partners, in order to gather and provide accurate information
• Checks General Accounting records and ensures their correct registration
• Monitors cost elements and prepare breakdown cost analysis
• Assists in the submission of EU funded investments proposals

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Production & Management Engineering, MSc in related fields will be considered a plus
• 2-4 years of relevant professional experience
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); Knowledge of German or Italian will be considered an advantage
• Experience in ERP, Reporting tools & Predictive analytics (SAP/BW, Tableau, MS Office, Math & Statistical suites)
• Ability to travel within Sunlight’s locations (up to 10%)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Experience in data, operational and financial analysis
• Ability to monitor progress, ensure successful and timely delivery of objectives
• Proven organizational and problem-solving skills
