Thrace Plastics Pack, member of Thrace Group, is seeking to fill the position of IT Administrator. The role is based in Ioannina.
In this role you will manage incoming issues through their entire lifecycle from the first point of contact through to resolution. Mainly you will administer and troubleshoot with the following:
Server issues
- Windows Server 2008/2012/2016: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Exchange Server 2010/2013/2016/Office 365
- VMWare ESX and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
- Backup solutions and DR
- Common Client/Server Applications including Office 365 suite
Networking issues
- Firewalls and VPN
- Routers/Switches
- Internet-related problems (ie DNS)
Workstation, peripheral and mobile device issues
- Office 365
- Windows 7/10
- Standard and proprietary applications
- Desktop and laptop hardware
- Printers, scanners, fax devices
- Mobile devices (iPhone, Android)
To be successful in this role you should have the confidence to deal with various stakeholders, and the ability to identify and manage incoming requests within a ticketing queue while provide excellent end-user support and accurately documenting time spent for each case.
Responsibilities:
- Dealing with incoming faults in a professional, courteous manner by phone or email
- Taking ownership of faults and managing them in a logical and methodical manner
- Correctly logging incidents and faults, categorizing, and prioritizing them in line with established procedures
- Conducting full and thorough diagnostics with end users to enable first time fault resolution, keep them informed about the progress
- Ensuring all faults are progressed & cleared within SLA – escalating to other internal and external teams as needed
- Diagnosing and resolving problems to the end-user’s satisfaction
- Identify and escalate repeated issues or service risks into service management teams
- Deal with complex technical problems if required
- Maintain and develop own knowledge and skills to assist with first time fault resolution, Share knowledge with the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar field, relevant certifications will be considered a plus
- Proven working experience in similar role
- Excellent command of English language
- Highly focused in customer service
- High level of initiative and a solution-oriented way of thinking
- Active team-player with a can-do attitude and strong communication skills
- Driving license
- Accomplished military services for male candidates
