Our Internal Audit Group (IAG), envisioning its role as one of the most dynamic in the Greek industry, is on the spotlight, as there are many risks and opportunities that a financial institution needs to address, transitioning into a new era.
The unit's mission is to ensure that effective controls are in place for the Bank to manage risks and opportunities in a way that adds value to the Bank, its customers and employees and society in general! Simply, this is the team that helps to protect and improve our business!
The IAG covers the entire spectrum of the operations of the Bank including its subsidiaries.
What will you do
By joining IAG, you’ll be part of a team of more than 110 professionals in Greece and abroad, with expertise in auditing, banking and investment services, technology. Your everyday professional life will include:
- Participating in audit assignments as part of Greek and international teams
- Being involved in the monitoring of the timely resolution of open issues (including the final validation process), working closely the Bank’s Senior Management
- Building skills in the use of technology to enhance efficiency and automation throughout the audit cycle (e.g., risk assessment, auditing, reporting, actions follow-up)
- Building-up your managerial and leadership skills across multinational and diverse cultures

What are we looking for
- A strong Academic Background in Economics, Accounting and Finance, Mathematics, Statistics and Information Technology.
- A minimum of 3 and up to 6 years of working experience preferably in audit and/or in financial institutions..
- To hold or have started a professional qualification in audit (ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA and/or equivalent) or other relevant disciplines (CFA, PRMIA, GARP, etc). This will be considered an asset.
- Excellent command of the English language (verbal & written)
- critical thinking and analytical skills
