Accountant - based in Schimatari

Expanding our Finance Team in Schimatari, Viotia , we will hire a competent and highly motivated Accountant based in Schimatari

Main Responsibilities

• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury transactions and general ledger entries
• Bookkeeping of imports from EU - Third countries and participate in the preparation of the monthly declarations for Listing/Intrastat/VIES
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily /weekly /monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and assist in managing customer and vendor relationships
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets to support decision-making processes
• Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines
• Tax Compliance: Assist with tax preparation and compliance, including VAT, payroll taxes, and other relevant taxes
• Audit Support: Prepare documentation and assist in financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Month-End and Year-End Close: Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities

Candidate Profil:

• BSc degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in an Accounting position of at least 3 years.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Good knowledge of Accounting principles.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• MyData knowledge/ experience for Income and Expenses uploading to AADE will be highly appreciate.
• Softone ERP knowledge will be an asset.
• Very Good knowledge on MS Office
• Fluency in English.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player, motivated and self-driven with strong sense of ownership
• Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
