Role Responsibilities

As a C&D officer, you will be responsible for:

• Timely and accurate posting of the transactions related to the collections and premium receivables of Eurolife FFH insurance companies. The overall collection process is achieved through the processing of several reports and performing a series of actions including:
  • Daily sending and receiving of standing order payment records related to cards and bank accounts.
  • Daily processing of collections that appear in bank accounts as well as in the files received through DIAS and Bankassurance transactions.
• Ensure timely release of commissions to agents and intermediaries through daily payments
• Make payments to all the suppliers/creditors (through e-banking) based on the instructions of the Cost Controlling Division;
• Perform a series of daily actions and processes for the collection of the premium receivables including daily/monthly monitoring of the due balances and communications with internal and external stakeholders
• Accounting monitoring, maintenance and reconciliation of the loans or advance payments to the agents and intermediaries;
• Calculation on quarterly basis of the provisions for bad debts related to premium receivables and loans and advance payments  to agents and intermediaries

 Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• At least 4 years of collections or relevant work experience is required, ideally within an insurance company;
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration or similar. Master’s degree is desirable but not mandatory;
• Able to work well within defined deadlines;
• Effective oral and written communication skills;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word is a must;
•  Attention to detail and accuracy;
• Ability to be both a team player and work independently;
• Results oriented and able to deliver under pressure to short deadlines, while coping with changing priorities;
• Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. Proficient problem solving skills;
• Friendly and personal
