Position: Accountant
Location: Athens (on site)
If you wish to be part of the largest Insurance Broker in Europe and you have:
- BSc in Accounting and/or Finance
- 4-5 years of experience in similar position
- Computer literacy, MS Office (excellent use of Microsoft Navision is considered as a plus)
- Excellent communication skills in Greek & English
- Effective responsiveness to pressure and tight deadlines

Role Summary:
The successful candidate will serve the major financial accounting areas, including the accounts payable desk, general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, fact-checking and filing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping
- Collecting and verifying company expenses, monitoring of bank account balances.
- Reconciliation of balances, preparation and payments.
- Monthly closing procedures, tax statements preparation and submission.
- Filing and systems updating.
- Production and distribution of information requested by external auditors in a timely manner.
- Seek updates on the new tax-accounting regulations.
