Logicom is a leading regional Distributor of Technology Solutions and Services covering a wide area in Europe, Middle East and North Africa. We are currently looking for an experienced professional to fill the position of Accounting and Administration Officer for Logicom Distribution in Greece.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping, and general ledger entries.
• Costing of warehouse items.
• Monitoring and resolving discrepancies with vendors' invoices/credit notes.
• Monitoring of item characteristics (levels/recycle tax/ copyright/classification/posting group fields/Tariff No)
• Preparing import files and archiving of relevant supporting materials.
• File and archive documents related to the Accounting function.
• Returns of damaged/non-functional items to vendors and monitoring that credit notes received.
• Issuing Invoices and credit notes.
• Communication with warehouse personnel.
• Monitoring of goods in transit items.
• Preparing of VIES declaration, Intrastat, and Recycling tax.
• Preparing and monitoring for items that must be destructed in accordance with the Group procedures.
• Support the credit control team.

Skills & Qualifications

• University Degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration or other relevant field.
• At least 3-4 years’ relevant working experience.
• Very good knowledge of the English language.
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint and generally to be proficient with technology.
• Working experience with Navision will be considered an advantage.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Notable organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to manage priorities.
