Key responsibilities:
- Collect and verify company expenses.
- Post journal entries and categorize records in the General Ledger.
- Perform intercompany postings and reconciliations.
- Conduct Bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile customer and carrier accounts.
- Follow up on vendor and customer aging reports.
- Issue domestic and intercompany revenue invoices and manage MyData submissions.
- Handle tasks on the "MyData" platform.
- Prepare and submit monthly and periodic fiscal obligations, including VAT, VIES, Intrastat, WHT, and contracts.
- Manage e-banking payments.
- Prepare reports as requested by the entity and the Group.
- Compile month-end and year-end reports.
- Coordinate with the external accounting firm for various accounting tasks.
- Provide requested information to external auditors in a timely manner.
- Review payroll processes.
- Stay updated on Greek tax regulations and the uniform chart of accounts (Greek GAAP).
- Stay informed on the new tax and accounting regulations.
- Participate in some administrative tasks.
We’re looking for:
- Diploma in Finance, Economics or Accounting (AEI or TEI)
- A’ class signatory rights
- 4-5 years of experience in similar role
- Advanced use of MS Office applications (Dynamics 365 is considered as a plus)
- Very good command of the English/Greek language, both verbal and written
- Very good understanding of tax laws and Greek accounting standards
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of ‘’My Data’’
- Basic knowledge in payroll
- Open for learning and working in fast paced environment
